Eponic & West Palm Beach Police Dept Develop Security Apps
The Eponic team has been hard at work developing new software to help bridge the gap between Business Improvement District Safe Teams and the local police department. The West Palm Beach Police Department saw the Eponic system in action during our recent deployment for the WPB Downtown Development Authority. They were so impressed with the system they have ordered the handheld units and the officers assigned to the BID will be logging data and generating reports with the WPB DDA.
The Eponic System was also recently endorsed by Anthony Batts, Chief of Police of the Long Beach Police Department, “The PDA program has vastly increased the amount and quality of data that we have about Downtown Long Beach. Guides are able to track on their PDAs trends in graffiti, illegal dumping, abandoned shopping carts, and quality of life issues such as panhandling and outreach to the homeless community.”
