Is that pothole STILL there?

Eponic launches Street Infrastructure tracking software

Working with New York City's Times Square Alliance, the Eponic team has developed a handheld system to identify, monitor and communicate the status of broken street infrastructure. The system is dynamic and allows BID managers to customize the application to prioritize and monitor these issues in collaboration with their maintenance teams.

This can be street lights, parking meters, tree grates, bus shelters, trash cans, flower boxes, holiday lighting or any particular item of concern to your BID. The system can send out real-time work orders to your maintenance crews and allows you to flag urgent issues with the ability to generate interactive task-sheets on the fly.

Eponic was challenged with the task of creating a super-simple graphic interface that anyone can pickup and master with five minutes of training. Although the handheld system keeps complexity to a minimum, the online reporting database where the data is uploaded is extremely robust and feature rich, creating an integrated, real-time communication system from the street to the reports you share with other members of your organization.

Eponic raises the BAR on measuring response time

Managers use an interactive Google map to plot infrastructure items, identify those needing repair and email the map (with coordinates) to city partners. In addition to identifying what needs to be fixed, the Eponic system comes with a proprietary BAR report - the Benchmark Aging Report tracks how quickly issues are being resolved and which ones need additional resources to be resolved.

Eponic customers, like the Downtown Norfolk Council utilize our handheld log tracking system to photograph and report gang-related graffiti to the Norfolk Police Department. While the maintenance team at the Downtown Sacramento Partnership tracks pressure-washing and debris removal. We are excited to extend our toolset to help keep downtowns clean, safe and now well maintained.
